Hurricane Melissa is a dangerous Category 5 hurricane, about 140 miles southwest of Jamaica. It's expected to make a direct hit Tuesday, with catastrophic & life-threating winds up to 175 miles per hour. In addition to the winds, the National Hurricane Center is forecasting up to 30 inches of rainfall leading to devastating flash flooding. Thoughts are with all those bracing for impact tonight.
