In the early 1990s, ABC's youth radio station, triple j, gave the Majestic Fanfare a very 90s remix. The triple j news theme was written and produced by Paul McKercher and John Jacobs in 1991.

On Thursday, ESPN unveiled the theme song for the SEC on ABC, a musical score that’s a reworked version of ESPN’s college football theme song from the late 1990s and early 2000s.
